What Difference Does it Make?
It’s easy to get mired down in… well, all of this *gestures broadly at this country*. Social media feels like a damp quilt throw over our faces - a musty, tattered patchwork of rage, denial, pity, melancholy, apathy, you name it - but it’s dark. Sure, there are pretty pictures of food and people’s kids and pets and some dad jokes, but overall it just brings me such concern. I know you’re concerned, too, especially for kids who are experiencing this environment. And it’s easy to say, “Well, get them off the screens. They should be outside/playing/using their imagination/reading/having a good time…” but that’s no longer the world we live in.
